CDS Manufacturing designed and built this dome switch installation machine. The system automatically feeds, orients, and loads five dome switches into two halves of an automotive cruise control panel.

The operator loads the cruise control panels onto a fixture. The fixture is mounted to an "X" table which positions the panels in the "X" axis for dome switch installation.

The dome switches fed, oriented and presented to a pick and place unit that picks up the dome switch from the end of the orientation track and places it into the cruise control panel.
