CDS Manufacturing designed and built this system to sort cylindrical parts for length. This system utilizes our utilizes our linear vibratory parts feeder and laser measurement equipment.

The operator loads parts into the hopper. The hopper supplies parts to the feeder system. The number of parts in the feeder system is automatically maintained. Parts are fed to the laser for length measurement. Good and reject parts are gated accordingly into their respective output chutes.
